I'm Miguel Angel, an Automation Engineer (CUJAE, Havana). I help teams take connected devices from idea to working product: firmware, electronics, enclosure and on-device AI.
- Firmware in C/C++ for ESP32, ESP8266 and 8051-family microcontrollers, with Wi-Fi, Ethernet and MQTT connectivity and integration with Home Assistant and ESPHome.
- On-device AI: TinyML models trained, optimized and deployed on microcontrollers, so your product responds with low latency and low power, without depending on the cloud.
- Battery-powered devices: lithium-ion cells with safe charging and protection, and firmware designed around the power budget to extend runtime.
- Hardware design in KiCad, from schematic to boards ready for manufacturing and full assembly, and 3D enclosure design in FreeCAD.
- Complete deliverables: every project measured, tested and documented in English, so your team can maintain it and build on it.
- NEO: voice assistant built on an ESP32-S3. A 15 KB int8 TensorFlow Lite Micro model detects the wake word on the device, and a Python server handles speech recognition, intent detection and speech synthesis.
- SmartRele: open-hardware Wi-Fi relay module for 110–120 VAC and loads up to 10 A, based on the ESP-12F. Designed in KiCad with zero DRC/ERC errors and ready for fully assembled manufacturing.
